Visitors who hoped to visit ol Ein Gedi Beach and discovered that is closed at the moment (due to sinkholes), don’t have to change their plans – they can visit a lovely spa resort and a different beach located in the Ein Gedi area (in the central part of the Dead Sea, right next to Kibbutz Ein Gedi), which has a gorgeous private beach, in addition to other amenities.

The private beach has a reasonable entrance fee and offers visitors comfortable beach chairs, showers, toilets and a lifeguard service. During opening hours, visitors can take a special shuttle from the spa complex to the beach.

How to get to Ein Gedi Beach
You can easily arrive to the beach by taking Road 90 which runs along the Dead Sea. The spa is located right at the entrance of Kibbutz Ein Gedi. The beach is a one-hour drive from Jerusalem, a two-hour drive from Tel Aviv and a 45-minute drive from Arad. From the main hotel area of the Dead Sea – Ein Bokek – it would take you a short 20-minute drive.
